You spoke in an earlier blog entry about concern that you might get ripped off by contractors who come in to handle work you can't manage. HomeStars.com is now in Boston, and has reviews of local home improvement and home renovation service providers. You can sort through the good, the bad, the ugly, and the "Genius Boy" types :)
FYI--it's worth adding as a link.
Great blog, by the way. I've been following the Mosaic Commons project for years and am amazed by the progress now.
