Did you know that the sooper seekrit magic chrome de-ruster/polisher is...SOS pads? Yup. Why don't they tell you these things in school? I had to hear about it from my car geek husband; apparently those guys who spit spine their cars every day already know this.
I wish I had thought to take "before" pics of our rust-caked bathroom fixtures. I didn't, though, so you'll just have to trust me -- grimy to shiny in a half hour!
Alas, the tub fixtures were unsalvageable. But I splurged and ordered new ones (along with leak-repair kits) so the bathroom will be blindingly shiny (and drip-free!) after we get the tub glazed.
The future (bathroom)'s so bright, I gotta wear shades!
